If you recognise the logo, it’s probably because you’ve seen me training myself or championing a happy and sweaty group of clients around the Lower North Shore of Sydney for the last 15 years. But my fitness journey started long before – and on the other side of the pond.
Like every other football (soccer) kid, I had big dreams of a loud life on the field – and spent any time spared playing semi-professional soccer. What I didn’t know was that would ultimately open the doors for what would become my true passion in life: helping others strengthen their minds, bodies and wellbeing – and having fun while doing so. I graduated with a degree in IT from a sports University called Loughborough which I knew then that if my IT career doesn’t cut it for me I’ll do the change. Guess what? I’m doing both. Working as a full time Business Systems Manager for the Local Government and running my own Personal Training business outside of the core hours.
Since qualifying as a Trainer in 2007, I’ve continued to stack up my qualifications – see below. Even today, I take an active interest in continuing to invest in science-based training methods both in Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition and mindset learning to achieve results for my clients. PS - I also do Brazilian Jiujitsu and Kickboxing to enhance my skillset.
While training with me will feel different every day – from bootcamps, to kickboxing, cardio circuits, weights, group classes and solo sessions – one thing will remain a constant: and that’s the fun and friendships formed. I’m not one to yell but in fact focus on the details of the exercise technique. Show ways how to progress and regress when needed and ways to get better.
